How do I order my tiny home?

You can order an expandable prefab container home right here.

Do you offer a price guarantee?

The price paid covers standard customizations. However, pricing can change depending on additional, non-standard customization options. Due to fluctuating raw material costs and taxes, we cannot guarantee a fixed price at the time of reservation. Shipping costs will also vary. We will communicate any pricing changes via email and update our website accordingly. When your position in the queue is reached, we will contact you to confirm the final pricing and next steps.

What is the production time for the container homes?

Production time ranges from 15-30 days, depending on volume impact.

What happens when I order online?

After checkout, you'll receive an order confirmation. Then, you'll get an email to schedule your design call for any required customizations.

What happens during the quality review call?

During the quality review call, we'll confirm the details of your order and any customizations to ensure everything meets your expectations

How can I track my order?

You will be provided tracking information once your tiny container home has been picked up for transport by our shipper.

What's included in my tiny home?

Your tiny home comes fully equipped with essential living spaces and amenities. This includes a bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower, electric water heater, kitchen cabinet, sink, internal wiring, socket switches, water supply pipe, flooring, doors, and windows. It is designed to provide a complete and comfortable living experience with all necessary configurations.

Can I customize my tiny home?

Yes, you can customize your tiny home extensively. You have the freedom to choose from various exterior colors, door types, window types, flooring options, bathroom flooring, bathroom vanity, toilet, shower, and the overall home configuration and layout. This allows you to create a living space that perfectly matches your personal style and needs.

What's included in this home?

Your container home arrives complete with all finishes, kitchen cabinets and sink, full bathroom, electric tankless water heater, remote controlled split HVAC system, LED lighting, electricity and plumbing.

What are the kitchen countertops made of?

Granite is our standard kitchen countertop material. Upgrades to marble are available.

How do I customize my tiny home?

After completing your order you will be emailed an invitation to review and finalize your customizations. Alternatively, you may use the order notes to fill your standard selections.

What materials are used for the walls and ceiling?

The walls and ceiling are made from 75mm rock wool galvanized steel sandwich panels.

What materials are used for the floors in my tiny home?

The middle floor is made of fire-resistant glass magnesium board (asbestos-free).

How is my tiny home insulated?

Our thermal insulation materials include corrugated steel sheets with thicknesses ranging from 0.3mm to 0.6mm. For the insulation itself, we offer a 75mm sandwich panels, including EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), glass wool, rock wool. These materials provide excellent thermal insulation, ensuring your tiny home remains energy-efficient and comfortable in any climate.

What is included in the plumbing setup?

The plumbing setup includes hot/cold inlets for kitchen sink, bathroom basin, toilet, and shower with WaterMark certified fittings.

How do you ensure quality control?

We prioritize quality throughout the entire production process. Our quality control (QC) measures include thorough material inspections, vigilant monitoring during production, and comprehensive package inspections before shipping. This ensures that every tiny home meets our high standards of excellence and provides you with the best possible product.

Will there be add-ons?

We are currently exploring add-ons from the factory that can be purchased in our shop and installed on your tiny home. We will be sure to keep you updated on any further product and accessory offerings from My Tiny Home Hub.

How your tiny container home is powered

Energy

What electrical services are provided?

Pre-wired outlets, switches, and power for bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living space with 64 amp main protection switch board (can be customized according to requirements) and waterproof connector.

Can my tiny home be hooked up to gas?

Your container home is set up to be run off electricity and does not come equipped with any of the hookups required to use gas or propane.

Is my tiny home compatible with solar?

Yes. However, solar panels would need to be installed after the installation of your tiny home is complete. Currently, My Tiny Home Hub does not provide the option to install solar panels from the factory. Please be advised there will likely be additional costs associated with installing a pitched roof in order for you to install solar on your tiny home, but the connections included on the container home from the factory will allow solar to be integrated if you choose to do so.

What is the voltage of my tiny home?

In the current design, the electrical voltage of the container home is 110V. We offer the option to scale this to 240V if required.

Can a generator be used to hook up power and heat the tiny home?

Yes, you can use a generator to power your tiny home, provided it is large enough to handle the electrical load. The generator should be capable of servicing 64 amps. Currently, our tiny homes are designed to be purely electric and do not utilize gas for heating.

Can my tiny home be equipped with solar, or do I need to install it myself?

Solar panels need to be installed after your tiny home is set up. My Tiny Home Hub doesn't offer factory-installed solar panels. There may be extra costs for installing a pitched roof to accommodate solar panels, but our homes come with the necessary connections to integrate solar if you choose to do so.

How energy-efficient are your tiny homes?

Our tiny homes are designed with energy efficiency in mind. They feature high-quality insulation materials such as EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), glass wool, rock wool, and polyurethane, which provide excellent thermal insulation. Additionally, our homes are equipped with energy-efficient windows and doors to minimize heat loss. The compact design further enhances energy efficiency by reducing the amount of energy needed for heating and cooling. For those interested in renewable energy, our homes are compatible with solar power systems, allowing you to reduce your carbon footprint and energy costs.

How do you insulate your external hookups?

We recommend consulting with local contractors who have knowledge of your specific climate zone regarding any additional insulation or changes that would be necessary for your tiny home to be compliant with local codes.

How is the house tested for durability?

The house is built with heavy-duty galvanized steel frame and materials tested for fireproof, waterproof, and seismic resistance.

What level of sound resistance do the tiny homes offer?

Our tiny homes have a sound resistance of ≥30 dB, offering a quieter living environment.

What is the seismic resistance grade of the tiny home?

Our tiny homes have a seismic resistance grade of 10, ensuring stability during earthquakes.

What is the roof live load capacity?

The roof can support a live load of 1.5 kN/m².

What materials are used for the roof of the tiny home?

The roof consists of an external roofing layer made of t50mm fireproof EPS sandwich panels, an insulating layer of EPS, and an internal ceiling made of t0.3mm Type-831 ceiling plate.

What materials are used for the walls of the tiny home?

The side walls, front, and rear wall panels are made of t75mm fireproof EPS or rock wool board sandwich panels. Internal partitions also use t50mm fireproof EPS or rock wool board sandwich panels.

What are the R-Values of my tiny home?

The R-value for the walls and roof of our expandable container homes is approximately R-10.8 to R-12, using 75mm EPS insulation panels. The internal partitions have an R-value of approximately R-7.2 to R-8. If additional insulation is required, please inform us during your customization call. We can customize up to R-23.62

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, we presently offer direct-to-door delivery for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, and Italy.

Can I transport the unit myself?

A licensed, bonded, and insured transportation company is required to transport the tiny container home. If you own/operate a qualified transportation company, we will discuss the possibility on a one-to-one basis at the time your order is ready to ship.

Can you arrange transportation for my tiny home?

Yes, we can transport the tiny container home to your country or support FOB terms.

What is the process for loading containers for shipment?

We load the containers free of charge to ensure no damage during transportation.

How much is the shipping fee?

Shipping cost varies depending on the size container home you order and your location.

When your order is ready to ship, you'll receive a final shipping quote. If the actual cost is lower, we'll refund the difference; if higher, we'll collect the additional amount.

What is not included in the price?

At My Tiny Home Hub, the price includes the tiny container home and shipping fees at checkout.

However, you will be responsible for additional costs such as land, site preparation, utilities, foundation, landscaping, permits, and other potential expenses.

These costs vary based on your location and site complexity. You may also need to cover other taxes, government fees, and final shipping adjustments.

Do you offer installment plans?

While My Tiny Home Hub currently does not offer in-house installment plans or layaway options, you can apply for financing through third-party services. We also support installment payments via Shop Pay and PayPal Pay Later, providing flexible payment solutions to help you manage your purchase.

Installation

How long does it take to deploy my tiny home?

The rapid deployment system allows the house to be deployed within 10 minutes with a minimum of 8 + people.

Do you offer installation services?

We currently do not support installation services but provide on-site technical support.

Is a crane required for installation?

Yes, a crane, forklift, or telehandler (with appropriate capacity) is necessary to move the tiny container home at the installation location. The forklift or telehandler can assist in lifting the tiny container home from the bottom or the sides.

What type of foundation does my tiny home need to be on?

The tiny container home is a versatile structure that can be mounted on different types of foundations, including piers, concrete slabs, or stem walls. Be sure to check out your local regulations for what is required for your area.

What kind of hookups are needed for the home prior to delivery and installation?

Prior to delivery and installation, you are responsible for providing electrical, water, and sewage hookup as well as providing the foundation.

Are the utilities ready to plug in?

Your tiny home is delivered ready to connect to site utilities, but the site preparation is not included. As a My Tiny Home Hub customer, it's your responsibility to ensure all site requirements are met before delivery. Plumbing and electrical are pre-installed, so you only need a preferred installer to connect the home to your site.
